To The Masses: Hardware up for grabsHey all, I have built/rebuilt/maintained and fed my fleet of three crunchers multiple times over the years to include hex processors! (AMD of course ) To that end, from multiple projects NAS builds, etc; I have motherboards and miscellaneous parts for 939/AM2/AM3 AMD processor type builds. Specifically, a stack of motherboards are sitting here that should be in working order as they worked when they were pulled/stored. Most even still have their IO shields....one needs TLC cleaning of the CPU slot and a dust off...one needs a CPU bracket to hold a fan (which I think I have somewhere)... other than that, they are ready to use to the best of my recollection. Is there interest in anyone in this group building/providing homes for these parts? I'm willing to let them go for the price of shipping. (priority, flat-rate, cost of bubble wrap/anti-static bags) I offer those here because I want to give first crack to the crunching community....had this on the general DC board, but had no bites. Ebay didn't want them...but they don't use 'em like we do. Best, ayoustic PS: Additionally, might even have a couple of old CPUs of varying usability. AMD, specifically. |

Very kind offer, thank you. Not sure how many of our blades are using AMD processor's but we can most certainly have the hosts check in and keep this in mind if something does need to be changed or replaced.

If you have anything that could replace a ASUS M2V-TVM Socket AM2 Motherboard I would be interested. I have a full computer that the motherboard went bad in and if I could get it working I would dedicated it to a cruncher. » www.asus.com/Motherboard/M2VTVM/ |

I had an HP using an AM3 blow up it's onboard IDE controller. I don't suppose you have anything AM3 that supports DDR3? (It has that junk Pegatron M2N78-LA in it...) |

Hey all, I need a couple of days to test these for the PM's I've received. Will probably ship next week once I nail these down -- work is being a PAIN right now . Thanks for the patience, ayoustic |

No sweat. I wouldn't be considering repairing either of these machines right now if not for your generous off of parts. |

Greetings all, Sent Bolt IM's to confirm a shipment for Monday via Priority Mail. Agreed on $15 to reimburse shipping after board is in production and functioning. Sent Goober an IM -- I had a spare CPU/RAM with an AM2 setup eventhought Goobs was looking for an AM3. Will need a heatsink/fan, but otherwise ready to roll with CPU/RAM on board and waiting to ship. Again $15 upon successful powerup. What I have left: ASUS M2R32-MVP - some gunk/grease in the CPU socket, cleaned as well as I could but should work fine. » support.asus.com/cpusupp ··· -MVP&p=1The other two mobo's I found something cracked/broken beyond repair and therefore can't use (nor can anyone else since the board is physically cracked). Thanks for the responses thus far.....who wants that M2R32,,,,,,one more infant cruncher to try to build? PS: These mobos only get reimbursement if they POST. If they are dead, they pay nothing -- call it "good faith" toward my folks who are crunchin up in here. Best, Ayoustic EDIT 1: Goober approved via IM, updated post to reflect that. |

Sup all,
Just a note -- I was down with the flu on Monday and left the packages for USPS to pickup at the office -- epic fail, no one showed.
So, we got 'em to the post office today. Labels should be scanned in a bit for those who got a board. Sorry about that. The stomach flu is not nice....thankfully, I'm back at work after a day siesta. |

Get better soon!
I don't mind the wait, it gives Newegg a chance to get a cooler here. Thanks again. |

Wanted to let you know it got here a few minutes ago. Oddly enough, the cooler and thermal paste arrived with it. lol. Like I said, you needed to give Newegg the head start! Hope you're feeling better. I'll post back once I get it fired up and paypal posted. |

Today is my lucky day, everything came in at once and it fired up like a charm.
BTW.. This was my first attempt at replacing a mobo and I just hope loading windows will not give me too many problems with reactivation.
$15.00 sent to ayoustic via paypal.
Once again thanks!! |

Greetings, Both previous shipments were paid for, as agreed . Thanks for continuing hope with the honor system! One board still needs to ship -- hopefully tomorrow provided my "honey do" list doesn't get larger. ayoustic |

There is hope for the world yet -- everyone paid on the honor system with NO problem (Not that I doubted my TD peeps) Right now, I'm ALL OUT of goodies! Which means, three new/resurrected crunchers are out there -- may those parts serve you all well for many years. Best, ayoustic |
