Is there a way to Install Win XP on a Compaq EVO D510 without the recovery CD? I have COA and product key - just missing the CD.
(I did search)

1 edit | If you can find someone to loan you or sell you a genuine Windows XP install CD you may be able to reinstall Windows with the Key Code off your existing computer.
The version and flavor of the Windows Install CD would need to match whatever is shown on your COA to have a chance of a successful install.
That is HOME OEM to HOME to Home Oem, and so forth. Not Pro to Home or Student version to Home or Pro normal versions for example. And like not a Pro to Home attempt either. Hope that makes sense. |
