TWC customer service reps are trained to be evasive (as so many corporate slaves are). It's simple. If they tell you something that is not exactly true or correct the executives do not want to have to honor it. They are afraid you will hold them to their word.
Currently I just resolved an issue with AT&T Mobility regarding my Samsung GS2. In December they pushed out a software update that effectively made every similar GS2 (i777) worthless. Thousands of users are affected. One of the CSR's I have dealt with acknowledged (in an email) that they are aware of the problem and that a fix would come sometime but with no ETA. Yesterday, I finally spoke with a decision maker at ATT. He would not acknowledge the problem...that is until I sent him the email response from his own CSR. My new Samsung GS3 will be delivered next week, free of charge.
