Windstream Stops Georgia Cities from municipal ISPs
Instead of improving our service they gave the money to lobbyists to keep cities in Georgia from building out their own networks if the current ISP delivers at least 1.5 mbps. However the FCC recently updated what they call Broadband to 4m down and 1 m up.
So now you know! They spend their money on lobbyists, not their network (surprise surprise). Anything they can do to deliver the worst service at the highest price. »consumerist.com/2013/02/14/georg···access/? -- | Speedstream 4200 Modem - 3m/384 plan | W98-W2KSP4-XPSP2 - All AMD | Buffalo WHR G54S with Tomato 1.18 | 3 downstream switches feeding 6 total clients (no wireless) | Including the Data port on the side of my neck |
