I see on the BrightHouse Website that a DOCSIS 3 modem is now "required" for Turbo and Lightning (looking at the "can I use my own modem" page). I have Turbo service and I am still renting a modem, but it's just a DOCSIS 2 model. Could I take that in to the local office and have it swapped out for a D3 model? My service is currently working ok, but since I'm paying the rental fee, it seems like I should probably get a D3 modem at least? -- - cmcasey79, BrightHouse RoadRunner Turbo, Farmington Hills, MI |

Can you tell me what the difference is between whatever I have now and the current Turbo? If this needs to be moved to a direct thread, let me know. I thought it might be useful for some other people to know the difference. Perhaps you could also tell people how they'd be able to tell which Turbo plan they have (I checked my bill, and just see a line that reads "Road Runner Turbo Add-on").
Thanks again! -- - cmcasey79, BrightHouse RoadRunner Turbo, Farmington Hills, MI |

Your package is no longer available however you were grandfathered at your current tier. So long as you don't drop your current tier your price and speeds remain the same. This has been covered in great detail here in other threads and »brighthouse.com/tampa-bay/shop/i···et_plans |
