Re: Red cups with the funny rim back at Timmie's I did some end-of-summer car cleaning in October and found a bunch of them under my seat.... can you use old ones from previous years? |

Just saw they have "Free coffee for a year"', which they define as 6 $100 Tim Hortons gift cards. |

| I usually brew my own, get McDonald's when out on the road. But often with coworkers we will meet at a local Tim's as they are more frequent. -- AFK: Attack, fight, kill!! The healer is telling you to go pull mobs. WTF: Way to fight! The healer is applauding your tactical genius |

 | reply to elwoodblues LOL - that's not much, but their idea of quality coffee isn't up to much either. Timmies is becoming more niggardly in the prizes they hand out. |

| reply to minoe I can't stand either of those coffees. We have an espresso machine at home, so I will just drink that.
On the rare occasion that I do drink coffee outside, there are two small places next to my workplace, one is a pastry/dessert shop, the other is a chocolate artisan shop where they make their own chocolate. The coffee at those places is same price as Timmie's, but the quality is a million times better as it's freshly ground and prepared on the spot. |

Have a nice Delonghi drip + expresso maker. It gets used once and a blue moon, now my French press gets a workout 4-5 times a week.

said by LazMan:Of the major chains, I prefer Timmies... Starbucks is too bitter; ditto for Timothy's.
McD's is pretty decent; and I really like Robyn's, but they aren't anywhere to be found in Southern Ontario anymore (Marathon is about the closest they come anymore...) Timothy's, William's, Coffee Culture all decent alternatives.
