 | reply to goingup4 Any Specific reason why you need a firmware update? |
|
 | Was just going through the motions of updating router since I bought this myself before it was issued regularly by Opt. |
|
 | reply to goingup4 That is the latest version for the modem, so you can save yourself the call. |

 | Is this the latest firmware for the Arris TM822s as well?
Firmware Build and Revisions Firmware Name: TS0703123_090611_MODEL_7_8 Firmware Build Time: Tue Sep 6 18:01:19 EDT 2011 |

 | It's what I have in my modem too so I'm sure it is, but I'll edit this post if not. CV will do updates for the modems automatically, and retry number of times, so it will almost always be current. |

I would like to have a tech push updated firmware please. How do I get this done? That is still the current software at CV, even if retail-shipped devices have a newer version. This modem model is no longer being deployed (hasn't been since 2010), so don't expect any updates to it.
Again - why do you need an update? If you have a service-impacting issue, please call in, and you'll get a new modem one way or another (truck roll, or visit to walk-in center). |

 | I am having TV issues as well as my internet speeds are around 35Mbps and this is with Boost. I want to improve things. I do know the interior of my house is wired with rg59 and rewiring to a better rg6 would help with signal degradation. |

| You are lookimg in the wrong place. Your modem does not impact iO. I am assuming Boost Plus and not legacy boost. If you did the troubleshooting in your home (PC direct to modem), then call CV.
Since you talk about signal degradation, do you have a levels issue? |
|
 | Sorry what is boost plus as opposed to legacy boost? I was told some time ago that "some" of my issues were signal due to the old wiring and it would be beneficial to change it. No money at the time to do it. I get menu problems, freezing picture, black out of picture then no change until i change channel. |
|
 | Boost Plus = 50/8 plan original/legacy boost - 30/5 (you can't order this since boost plus came out 2 years ago) |
