[Express] Rogers Cable Modem question

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding rogers cable modems. I'm currently on the express package and have a scientific atlanta dpc2100 series cable modem and wanted to see if anyone knows if I'll get a different cable modem if I upgrade to the extreme plus package. I have my own router that I prefer to use so I hope if I do need a new modem, that it's just a modem and nothing more lol.

You will be required to get a new modem, if you're currently renting you will need to your modem to a Rogers Plus store and exchange it for a new one. If you own your current modem you will still need to go to a Rogers Plus store to get a new modem.

I would recommend getting either the Cisco modem or the Hitron modem.

All of the new modems are modem/router combo units but you can call up Rogers and have them put your new modem in bridge mode so that it acts as a modem only.
