(there's a free version, as well as a paid one) to keep my son out of apps that he's not supposed to be using, including the Play store, but you can also set the play store up with a PIN to buy apps, and I think includes free apps, but I don't remember for certain.
--
Rule #62: Don't take yourself so damn seriously!

[Apps] Parental control apps to limit app access with web admin?

Vchat20 posted : So long story short my younger brother has been given a hand-me-down LG Ally primarily so he has phone access (cheaper than buying a phone is the way I see it). Downside is the fact it is Android.

#1 concern is limiting access to apps. I have been looking around to see if there is a way to do this but have had no luck. Most seem to foist a brand new launcher on you. I'd like to just keep the existing launcher but have a popup or dialog of some sort pop up if he attempts to access a blocked app. And secondly remote access to change settings would be nice but it is not necessary.

Any ideas? Sure something has to exist out there. :)
--
I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources.
