I have exact the same problem! This is the only drawback of mechanical keyboard.

Picked up a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid for <60.00 Its 10 key less which is great for me. Ive noticed better typing accuracy, and more responsiveness in games. Its heavy and very well built and inexpensive for a mechanical (Ive read somewhere it was a re badged version of a Filco $$$). No more logos on this beast either, the only one is on the back portion of the keyboard below the f-keys.

I cant compare the switches to any other keyboards because this is the first modern one ive used, however I dont need to push the key all the way down for it to register, at least not with much force.

Will be using mechanical keyboards from here on out!.

BB usually has a pretty good refund policy (at least in Canada) so you should be able to return it, if it really isn't a good fit.

I love the Cherry Reds on it, gaming is so sweet. It's a little hard to type on if you tend to mispell a lot, but I'll get used to it I'm sure.
