| DCH3416, one recording will not delete, so series stops rec. How do i delete this one recording that just will not delete.
Back on 1-18 i recorded this show as part of a series and for some reason it remains and will not delete.
I have noticed the series stopped recording newer shows and stopped deleting all but the last 5 shows. If i manually delete the shows it starts recording again but stop after 5 are in the list.
I can not delete that one show, i deleted the series and that one show remains.
Are there any options, menus or other things to try before i take the DVR back for a new one. |

kudos:2 | I have a Moto DCH 6416, and had one show to hang like that for awhile, but I don't know what finally caused it to delete. Sorry...
I do remember that I was having a lot of flaky things happening around that time, and noticed that it seemed to be when my box was almost full, 80% or so. So I started trying to keep my shows around 60-70% and the problems went away. Not a happy solution, but it worked.  |

My box did fill up and that is when the issue of not recording some series started. I manually deleted the shows but still had issues with this one series, it should keep just the last 5 shows and auto delete to record a new show, but this one show that would delete is messing it up i think.
I know there is a maintenance menu but can't remember how to call it up, may be it has something to format or delete all, to start fresh. |

Ok, i got rid of it. I deleted everything but still this one show would not delete. I noticed it said DVR was 7% full but only had this one 1/2 hour show in the list.
I power cycled the DVR and after it rebooted i only showed 4% full and that show deleted.
I guess i should of tried a power cycle first before posting here. |
