...and FF users who can't figure out why they get whacked all the time....

On a side note, I love to hear how great FF is, yet still remember those early days of FF and those first versions of Thunderbird.
Thunderbird was quite an easy target and I gave up on both of them at the time because of it.......glad to see things are getting better though.

This is very cool.

But, they really could of added on how to mitigate the FAILED tests. Mine FAILED with a few items with IE8 and FF. But all I wish is that all the items which are in that list which FAILED, is there a way to lookup the mitigations or workarounds so next time if one runs these tests again, it would not show up as failed anymore. This may be too techy for an average user and needs to know how can the failed results be mitigated.

I know that a security auditing tool called Belarc Advisor (FREE) which does include ways for a user to gain knowledge on how to fix the failed tests that show up.

Valid point too, a test is a test, but some sort of description would help. Even if they don't resolve the errors, they still point you to an article to research it.

I guess they maybe members here. IE, you have google.

Well, Opera has been getting 100 on Acid 3 before Chrome existed.

Not at all! Flash is DISABLED on all browsers and I don't consider that to be important enough to enable Flash temporarily. Generally, Flash is finally not needed anymore as HTML5 will take over.

"2008- In May and June, Google Chrome 2.0[citation needed] and Opera Mobile 9.7 beta[28] displayed a score of 100/100, but did not actually pass; release versions of these browsers passed fully later in the year.[citation needed][29] Security concerns over downloadable fonts delayed Chrome from passing.[30]"

and here you can see what version of Opera finally did pass and render correctly on acid test. »www.howtocreate.co.uk/acid/

and
Opera 10 is a version of the Opera web browser. The initial version, 10.00, was released in September 2009.

Engine Improvements
In comparison to 9.x versions, Opera 10.50 uses Presto 2.5.22 which improves rendering speed, adds support for web standards such as RGBA/HSLA color, border-radius, and CSS transitions, and improves existing support for web standards. From 10.00, Opera passes the Acid3 test.[6]

Re:

krpano Panorama Viewer

The krpano Viewer is a small and very flexible high-performance viewer for all kind of panoramic images and interactive virtual tours. The viewer is available as Flash and HTML5 application. The viewer is designed for the usage inside the Browser on Desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux) and on Mobiles/Tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android, ...).

In addition to the krpano Viewer there are the krpano Tools - this are small tools and droplets which are helping to automatically prepare the panoramic images for viewing and making them ready-to-use. Making a pano or a tour is possible just by drag-and-drop.

I just upgraded SeaMonkey and turned Flash on while I was disabling all the other plugins on it. I have to admit, it is a quite cool Flash panorama.

Proxo had an Iframe toggle switch there and I clicked on that and wasinformed that I needed to install Flash Player (I have it already but I had it disabled on Fx hence the message that it needed to be installed and so that is how I knew Flash was used there. Proxo didn't recognize that as Flash but it is Flash).
