Verizon webpage error

I get the following from verizon »forums.verizon.com . I also get the same error when attempting the chat now support. I'm not interested in calling Verizon and wasting an hour being told to clear my cookies, reboot my PC etc.. Anyone also seeing this.

Request Entity Too Large

The requested resource
/vrzn/
does not allow request data with GET requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

Many of the Verizon sites don't seem to work in Chrome but work fine in IE.

This seems to be one of them. Did you try IE?

Odd enough it's working now with Chrome. I'll quit using Verizon websites before I'll use IE. Thanks for suggestion though.

The days of a single browser on a computer are long gone. Unless you're willing to put up with the parts that don't work.

Down the line you might end up having to use the VerizonAccess app, a fine-tuned browser specifically designed for VZ's kludge of a site.

Happens when folks think standards are for other people, not them.

I used Linux for my desktop for about 15 years. I know all about having a single browser. The latest Netscape/Mozilla/Phoenix/Firefox was the only option for many years with Linux. I just did not return to websites that did not work.

I've got Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and IE on my computer. I use Firefox most of the time, although Chrome seems faster on some sites. What's your problem with IE?

Well for starters IE is not available on Linux unless I run MS Windows on a virtual machine and either pay MS for Windows or steal their software...neither which I am willing to do.

On my wife's Windows 7 laptop IE is very slow. It takes 2 or 3 seconds for webpages to load and same websites load immediately with Chrome.
