| They're also offering a free switch to their T-Mobile SIM, which remains uncapped.
I'm on Net10's AT&T SIM, and my wife is on Straight Talk's. Neither of us have come close to 1.5 GB in a month, including sporadic tethering when traveling, but I guess this will be an issue for some.
The pricing still beats most of the AT&T MVNOs (just bought a Net10 refill for $41.99 on eBay today). -- If you can't open it, you don't own it. |

2 edits | I have both sim cards; T-mobile was faster in the city while Att had better coverage. T-mobile would not roam onto att for voice or data. Att works everywhere I have been so far without roaming.
Waiting for the GS4 to hit in March to drive prices down on the GN2.
Not going to be away from wifi long enough to use 1.5GB |

 | reply to SysOp I need more data than that. Tmobile only offers 2G here. The only 3G here is AT&T and verizon |

Not bad for $60 a month with no fees, taxes, activation etc. -- Yippz.com - Unlocked GSM Multi-SIM Smartphones and Android Mobile Phones |

(ATT ST/N10 sim cards do not require an unlocked phone) Your title is misleading..Straight Talk hasn't announced anything ...yet. Net 10 did, however the same company that owns Net 10 owns Straight Talk. Straight Talk will probably announce something soon. They already took off the ability to order AT&T sims on straighttalksim.com and is offering just the T-Mobile sim now.. T-Mobile on ST is actually pretty forgiving on the data allowance there was a post on Howardforums that a person used 25GB mobile data in a single day and not a peep from ST.. But sadly T-Mobile hasn't refarmed their towers here so I can't use it on my iPhone 5. Luckily I have wifi where I do most of my heavy lifting. |

2 edits | You are correct. Since América Móvil is TracFone, NET10 Wireless, Straight Talk, SafeLink Wireless, SIMPLE Mobile and Telcel América, it was a good bet it's the same cap. Time will tell.
They own Simple Mobile? That might explain the uncapped T-Mobile data. Or it's because T-Mobile merged with MetroPCS?
With no caps, and hspa coverage in most urban areas, they have the potential to steal customers away from DSL. To ensure bandwidth, I could even see them striking deals using the Clearwire microwave network to supplement back haul. |

SysOp join:2001-04-18 Douglasville, GA 4 edits | Give them a call and report back. But I haven't seen anything suggesting they do. I think it has to do with the older iphones 3G frequency not compatible with TM. |

Yes they do... but they are in short supply on the ST supply chain (just like the att sim and micro sim on ST). You can get a micro from the tmobile prepaid website for 99 cents. |

RobNycPremium join:2002-03-06 New York, NY | reply to SysOp I currently have a Nokia e71 (StraightTalk phone that runs under ATT network) sim card in my iPhone 4s.
Wondering if new customers with iPhones running on ST(ATT) get the TMO sim will they need to unlock the phone or it will run on 2G/Edge speeds?
There's another network called Solavei which runs under TMO and difference between that and others is that this one has MMS capabilities working out the box no need for apn settings |
