110Vac/220Vac lines ... the tools that I use run about at 7A-12A
Allegro 8-pin SOIC current sensor is good for measuring upto 50A at even 240V AC ... that layout of that e-bay PCB and a similar sparkfun PCB is quite unsafe for AC power tools.

If you are going to make a PCB for your project anyway, you could also incorporate the Allegro chip following that example but make it even better by cutting a narrow slot between IP+/IP- pins.
