Anyone played Tropico 4?

I played Tropico 3 and it really seems more a SimCity lite with dictators. Though, take my opinion with a grain of salt because I suck at SimCity and even moreso with Tropico because of being color deficient (need to be able to differentiate colors for humidity for growing crops).

Tropico 4 is good. I picked it up pretty cheap over the winter steam sale and I think I put 80 hours into it during my christmas break.

I think I played Tropico 1 or 2 a long time back. Now whenever I see the name I hear in my head "Your offshore bank account is growing nicely, your excellency!"

I sucked at Simcity-ish too. My little island was ripe for rebellion. Work harder, slaves!

Tropico 4 is my favorite sim city + latin america shit hole simulator.

I really like it. However toward like map 10 it gets repetitive.

If you like Sim City and you like rampant corruption... you'll be pleased as punch with Tropico 4.

Only complaint is there needs to be a longer sound track.

What this country needs is a good five dollar plasma weapon.

I agree with Mike, it is a good game and worth to get it when its on sale.

Thanks guys, guess I'll pick it up as it's Tropico 4+expansion going for only about $10.

Totally worth it at that price.

I sunk hundreds of hours in that game. It can be a lot of fun and is very addictive.

I once created a huge tourist Island, then destroyed all airports and ports and took over. It was funny.

You can play this in many ways which is what makes it great.
