Question for Newtown Residents

I will be moving to Sandy Hook next month-
Charter has been identified as providing service to my area.
Any advice on which internet service speed to purchase ?
Thanks!

You are probably gonna be only offered 2 speeds, 30mbps or 100 mbps(although rumor has it a 15mbps package does exist).

IMO, unless you specifically need 100mbps for something, the 30mbps should more than suffice. Charter does have implied caps of 250gb or the 30mbps package and 500gb for the 100mbps package but so far they have really not been enforcing them(yet).

Yep 30 or 100. They will also give you the modem. They gave me a SB6121.

I recently moved from Danbury (Comcast) to Southbury (Charter). I was expecting a bad experience but I'm actually quite pleased with their Internet service. Video on the other hand....not so much. Not that it's horrible but it's a little lacking in the HD department.

I agree meskinct. I've always had a good experience with their internet and phone service. They have been pretty solid for me.

However, I dropped them for TV long ago and have had Directv for a long time now.
