cmcasey79 join:2000-12-10 Farmington, MI kudos:1 | [Detroit] DVR Time Sync I had to reboot (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug in again) my DVR box last night because there was a recorded show that wouldn't delete properly. After the reboot, the clock on the DVR is about 2 minutes and 15 seconds slow (I have a couple atomic clocks plus my cell phone to check against). When I noticed the time problem this morning, I did another reset, and the time is still off by the same 2 minute and 15 second amount. This is going to cause the DVR to miss the beginning of pretty much every show I'm recording.
I'm not sure what the clocks on the DVRs sync with, but I'm assuming it's some kind of brighthouse owned equipment. Could someone maybe take a look and see if an adjustment needs to be made there?

 | Not sure if this helps with any diagnosis or not, but the clocks on both my STBs here in Livonia are also about 2 minutes slow this morning. |

It's somewhat good to hear that I'm not the only one with this problem though (hopefully means it'll be addressed quickly). -- - cmcasey79, BrightHouse RoadRunner Turbo, Farmington Hills, MI |
