planet join:2001-11-05 Oz kudos:1 | [iPad] Updating to iOS 6.1 or 6.1.2 Any problems for folks updating their iPads or iPad minis to iOS 6.1 or 6.1.2 from 6.0.1?
I ask after reading all the issues effecting (primarily iPhones) with battery drain.
I've procrastinated till now but have some concern due to the security issues addressed in the updates. »support.apple.com/kb/HT5642 |

I'm not updating to 6.1.2. -- If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough. - Albert Einstein |

I'm not updating to 6.1.2. Apple hasn't bothered with the jb yet. They most likely will push out a "security" update for 6.1.4 to patch it. The passcode shit is srs business. |

LazManPremium join:2003-03-26 canada | reply to planet 6.1 was a battery killer on my iPhone 4... 6.1.2 hasn't seemed to help much - I finally blew up the phone (factory reset) and reloaded last night, too soon to tell if that's fixed it or not.
As for my iPad (the 'old' 'new' iPad - the first one with Retina) - 6.1 didn't seem to bother it in the slightest... No concerns - battery life still seems excellent, no app issues. |

 | Just updated to 6.1.2 First impression, iPad seems a little bit hesitating, not as fluently as it used to be in 6.1. But... It's only an impression. Though it is enough for me to avoid updating my iPhone. I will not use Exchange anyway. |
