What speed is my "Mach 20" modem? Macungie, PA

My bill says that I have a "Mach 20" modem - does anyone know how this compares to the speeds currently listed on their web site (Lehigh Valley)? They are showing 25, 50 and 75 mbps.

Thanks!
Lisa

Re: What speed is my "Mach 20" modem?

Mach 20 is now Mach 25. Run a speed test from the computer that is connected to your modem. Go to speedtest.net and click on the nearest Comcast server to your location. You should get 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. If your speed is significantly slower, then post for help.

st89jebn- Not entirely true. Not all previous customers were automatically upgraded.

Lyriclisa - Call RCN, they should be able to adjust the speed for you.

Thanks for the replies - tested at 15 Mbps. I definitely need to call as I am seriously overpaying for my service!

It's also good to know that I don't need the 75 Mbps service they recommend for HD streaming - we stream almost all of our TV these days and have very few problems even with the 15 Mbps we are apparently getting.
