Correct Motorola modem?

I am currently using a 2Wire 3600HGV router on my U-Verse DSL internet line. So, I brought a Motorola 2210-02-1ATT Style MIPDSLA black modem for backup. Is this the correct modem?

I unplugged my 2Wire and plugged in the 2210 but I get a DSL sync failure with the 2210. So, I'm guessing I got the wrong Motorola modem. Any suggestions?

That is the wrong modem. You actually want a 2310 and not a 2210.
