Yeah, that was my thought process from '07-'09 when I was here last. Now it's my second time around, I really just want to go eat some CoCo's Curry once a week and save money.
Not to mention all the raping, trespassing, and general asshatery that US service members have been partaking in over here. The liberty policy is very strict. EVERYONE has a liberty buddy, there's absolutely no drinking or purchasing alcohol off base, and 90% of the enlisted population is required to be on their home camp by midnight.
Look up the news from Okinawa if you guys are interested in knowing what its like here...2 different sexual assault incidents, a trespassing/assault incident, several drunk in public violations, and even a public nudity incident over the last six months...this place is locked down like San Quentin.

The game doesn't do anything special if you use an SLI or Crossfire setup. You'll usually see performance gains but they're due to the OS or drivers just making video operations faster. I know of no plans by the developers to add enhanced support for multi-gpu configurations in the future but you never know.

Thus I'd just opt for a GTX680 instead of 2x GTX570's

Last I knew WoW didn't support SLI, so it'd only use your primary card.
Interested to know if WoW does infact support SLI/Crossfire - If it actually uses both cards. Can someone confirm? |

I am going to install my other GTX 560Ti tonite and run SLI and will see how it does. Soon as I find my other modular power cables since each card takes 2 plugs each. |

No, two current day cards in SLI/Cross are not needed for WoW.
This more applies to slightly older cards.
My 460GTX didn't handle WoW very well. Benchmark wise, two 460GTX's out performs your 560ti.
So if WoW actually supported SLI/Cross, it may be useful to some viewers.

2 cards in SLI should outperform one.
Head to head though my 560Ti has the 460. (which it should)
However depending on the game - the 560Ti is slightly better than the 7850.

So if you SLI the 560's as well then you will pull ahead of the 7850 in certain games like BF3.
I prefer the Nvidia cards over AMD for the Physix. |
