You bought a modem for a different type of uverse. That modem(the 2210) is for uverse IP_DSL which usually the signal comes from a central officeThe 2wire 3600 is for uverse VDSL, that signal is usually in a cabinet sitting out in the field in your neighborhood somewhere. They are 2 totally different types of signal and you cant interchange themHope that helpsMatt
Thanks for the answer. So, I'm guessing that there is no Motorola VDSL modem which works in the Chicago area? Guess I'm stuck with the 2Wire 3600HGV?Thanks for the reply.
reply to ChiDowntown The Motorola 2310 should work if you can get a hold of one.
