Re: [OS X] Chrome glitches after upgrade to 10.8

That did it. I had installed Google Canary a while back and the only trace of it was in my ~/Library folder (nothing in Applications). That seemed to be what was causing the problem.

Thanks !

You should upgrade Chrome to 25. Beautiful.

I'm already on "Version 25.0.1364.99".

With Canary, I ran it for a while but had removed it a couple of months ago. The traces of it remained in ~/Library/Application Support though. I ended up just deleting the profile for Canary and standard Chrome and started fresh.

Sure is! Still having a hard time weaning myself off of Safari.

Something wrong with me mentally:

Windows: Internet Explorer
OS X: Safari
Linux: Firefox

And I have a hard time moving away from that, and i have no idea why!

Even though Safari is Webkit like Chrome, it's pretty suck. Too slow of a release cycle but I like the iCloud integration Safari keeps.

Useful on the iPod...not sure what benefit it is for Safari, unless I missed something.

I never liked Safari, including on the Mac. Not sure why.... I added Firefox right away and later, Chrome.

Hand gestures with The Magic Trackpad would be a good reason ...

I meant the iCloud feature on safari. It's supposed to be self explanatory, but it doesn't seem to work for me. All devices sign under same account, and I can have something opened on the iPad or iPhone, and iCloud on MacBook Air is empty. Always. Safari is "checked" under iCloud preferences on all devices, including MacBook Air.
