Cablevision Latest to Impose Sports Surcharge → Meh

Everyone that has cable, IPTV etc.. pays for a lot of crap they never watch. It will always be the case until someone offers an a la carte option

The cable companies know what they are doing by breaking out the fee. It takes the bundle aspect away and would allow a customer to say I choose not to get the services associated with this fee.

The reason bundles haven't been challenged is that they are bundles.

The cable companies know this opens the door.

"Sure we'll give you ala carte, instead of the 300 channels you dont watch and the 10 you do for $85/mo, we'll give you the 10 you do watch for $10 each/mo"
