Google has always been obsessed with the idea of " all seeing eye". And now they're looking for an army of volunteers, who will play role of the new Google's Big Eye... What's next, army of volunteers who will play role of Google's arms, may be? Google will send impulses, that will control arms of those volunteers from the cloud? At this time may be not all can see that coming, but Google may want this too... said by My Way News :Google Inc. already sold an unspecified number of the glasses to computer programmers... Let me guess, programmers, who work for m$ and look at Windows OS source code all day long, got those glasses for free |

Re: Google Glass has some major privacy and legal issuesYou don't need a smartphone to do so. Any old camera will do just fine. |

I have to wonder about the mental state of those that think their life is so interesting that they need to share every moment of it. I can't blame Google for trying to cash in. |

I read a SF story where the end of privacy came about due to the invention of a machine that allowed users to go to almost any moment in the past to view anything they wished, and how societies changed due to the knowledge that there was in essence no more privacy, as future generations were already "ghosting" their current lives. While these devices cannot go back in time, all video captured and posted to the net does save all actions for future viewers, I wonder if a parallel is building, and if people's actions will eventually change? /meandering thought. |

Or any of the many SF novels/movies where people can read each others thoughts.

Who would look at those glasses and NOT know they aren't normal glasses? How could you possibly hide that fact from people while wearing them? |
