As far as phone - yes, an IP phone would be good, a softphone will work pretty well (CallCentric has one that works with WinXP - doesn't do so well with Win 7 Pro 64 bit). A good ATA with a good analog phone will also work well. Using the ATA route myself - the phone quality is generally just as good or better than the POTS service I used to have (and a MUCH better value). |
