[Extreme] Hitron CGN2

Not sure if this is possible but here goes.

I currently have this modem running in bridged mode. I have two WRT54GL (flashed with Shibby Tomato) routers configured to use WDS.

I would like to know if it's possible to have the Rogers modem set up as a separate access point while still using the Linksys routers.

Would it be as simple as enabling the wireless on the CGN2, creating a separate SSID, disabling DHCP or enabling it and creating a separate scope range?

I have network limitations set up for the kids that I would like to maintain (OpenDNS, bandwidth restrictions)

Ideally I would like to have to CGN2 issue IP addresses to certain wireless clients (my wife and I) while continuing to have the kids connected to the Linksys router(s).

Yes double NAT or Triple NAT is possible, you don't have to disable the DHCP, you could if you want to.

What you have to do is for Hitron, enable the gateway and its ip will be 192.168.0.1.

Now connect the second router to the LAN port of the Hitron, this second router before you connect it you have to change its IP to 192.168.1.1.

Now connect the third router to the LAN port of the second router, this third router before you connect you have to change its IP to 192.168.2.1.

Now just reboot everything and leave DHCP on and everything will work in harmony, it should.

From there just configure it how ever you want it.

I have done this, but the physical connection can be important:

On the gateway, I would connect a LAN port to the WAN port of the secondary router (which is also running DHCP for a different subnet, flashed with DD-WRT for VPN acccess). It also has a different SSID.

I also connect another router LAN to LAN so it can be used as another access point (not running DHCP)
