Unless CenturyLink is offering fiber to the home in some form then you're out of luck (or you have to go with Comcast).

FiOS by Frontier is only offered in areas that Frontier serves and since Portland proper is not serviced by Frontier, you can't get FiOS.

(Frontier service areas with FiOS are typically in most parts of Washington county, areas in (?) or around Gresham, and to the south in Newberg and McMinnville.)

It's rumored that we'll be getting a substantial speed bump this year sometime, at least.
