| dmz on verizon router Like others, I still want to use my router with FIOS. I have been doing successfully for a long time, however I recently added FIOS TV, therefore it became necessary to use their router.
I went with option 3 in the faq (verizon router primary, put second router into dmz on verizon router). With this option, port forwarding is supposed to happen but it isn't happening.
Is there something wrong with the Verizon router, or something else I need to do? It seemed pretty straightforward to set up but then it didn't work. |

I have had FIOS internet for nearly 7 years at this location. They originally gave me a D-LINK but I had been using my Netgear with Tomato firmware for a while. Out of the blue they sent me one of these and I didn't use it until this week when I decided to switch from DirecTV to FIOS TV. |
