The solution I posted will work through your own machine, which will actively block out the redirection to caching servers upon viewing Youtube videos on that machine.

If you want to have it established on your router firewall, »www.reddit.com/r/technology/comm···/c754qnp Use REJECT instead of DROP

I need to use it on my router, preferably. All of my devices are being hit hard by buffering, timeouts, etc (XBOX, iPhone, iPad).

Excuse my ignorance, but I do not know where I am supposed to use this REJECT command within my Verizon/Actiontec router.

Any help is appreciated.

Where do I input the code/info within the router?

i tried to handle the IP blocking through my router and the results have not changed much. The first few days it seemed better, but I still have really bad days. So I don't know if the change has made any difference. Youtube buffering results have always been inconsistent.

Any other ideas?
