Going along with what BlitzenZeus
has already said, I would start looking at the places he has mentioned.
With a little more detail, the "startup folders" (yes, there are actually two of them) are located at
Where xxxx = the user account that you are currently logged into on the PC.
The other places would be the run keys in the registry.
And, if you are running a 64 bit version of Windows 7, you may also have items at this key
If you are not able to figure out exactly what item at these places (or if you use the MSConfig or similar route) is causing the issue, post screen shots of what you found and we'll see if we can help you figure it out.
