Ekiga alternative

Anyone can offer a SIP alternative to Ekiga?

I just find it too buggy for my tastes.

For use with an ATA/IP phone or for use with a computer/softphone?

In any event:

SIP 2 SIP (also a little buggy sometimes)
»mdns.sipthor.net/register_sip_account.phtml

Get On Sip (reliable but a little confusing, from Junction Networks)

Auntie SIP (French, everyone should have a French auntie)

Free CallCentric "IP Freedom" account (a very SIP-friendly company and this free account comes with support and voicemail)
(Note: Of course you can place and receive SIP URI calls, even though their page just mentions placing).
(Inbound calling SIP URI syntax is 1777xxxxxxx@in.callcentric.com)

MAYBE: X-Lite Version 4 or Version 5. That's free to try!

Linphone on Ubuntu works ok for me. Twinkle is another choice on Ubuntu.
