[Speed] 200 Mbps/25 Mbps from Comcast Business Class

Has anyone ordered the Internet tier with 200 Mbps downstream, 25 Mbps upstream that's described at »bit.ly/W8RBvx ? This is just for the West division, right? I was always curious what the West division does differently to get the better coax upstream tiers - different lasers, different CMTS blades, different management?

Money makes the world go around. right now i wish my system had some extra.

yes its select markets. i cant imagine its on coax. but ya never know.

you dont need different lasers, you just need to limit your traffic, so 1:1 on the upstream ports at the CMTS, and small segmented nodes.

This could be the 200 speed mentioned here: »[Speed] Speed increase. Powerboost gone?

Business or not, I'm drooling even more.

Well, you would know, what's the sitch? Is there any 200 speeds in the pipe at all?

EDIT: Fiber based, eh? So lemme get this right. 200/25 and 305/65 Met-E?

What's the point of it being fiber based?
Docsis should handle it fine no?

The upload is also pathetic for fiber

Having gone from DOCSIS to fiber, it's a lot better. DOCSIS has a decent amount of jitter and the latency is generally a lot higher.
