Made the switch to WOW cable. So far so good except for one problem. I have an LG plasma 46" tv that was originally on the wall in the living room with WOW-no issues. Last month we purchased a new smart tv for the living room and the 46" moved up to the bedroom to replace the 32". Now the remote will turn the LG on/off and operate the volume up/down, which is all it's supposed to do. The remote operates the cable box for everything else. The problem is I'm rarely able to surf the guide and the DVR without is stalling and hesitating. I have done the following: *replaced the batteries *swapped out the remotes from other rooms *swapped out the boxes from other rooms *swapped out/replaced the HDMI cables to no avail. And to top it off the remotes and boxes that go to the other rooms work fine.
I'M BAFFLED! The only thing I can think of is some kind of IR interference but there's nothing more than an alarm clock in the bedroom!
