| Swapping Devices on my mobile connection I have multiple 4G Wimax mobile devices now. I would like to be able to swap between which one is currently using my mobile connection easily like via the website.
I remember back in the Xohm days you could go to the website and actually type in the mac address of the device that you wanted in your account settings.
When it first switched over to Clear, it was actually even easier -- when you first tried to browse with the device whose mac address wasn't currently linked to your mobile connection, it would redirect you to Clear.com, much like it does today, but it would have a log in prompt, too, and if you logged in with your account, it automatically detected the mac address of the device you were browsing from and linked it to your account. Thus, you were immediately able to browse via that device.
Now you are forced to contact a live person every time you want to switch devices. That's gross.
How can we get them to give us the ability to swap in/out our own devices via the website again?
Shouldn't be that hard technically since 1) it used to be that way, and 2) they currently let people with new devices activate them via the internet all by themselves. |
