| Using Sagemcom 2864 as a router only hello i have cable internet and would like to know if its possible to use Bell's Sagemcom F@st2864 modem/router to act as a router only. If so, how do u set it?

kudos:17 | i think you can change one of the ports from Auto to DHCP, where in theory it should get an IP from a cablemodem.

In the setting, you have a place to select if its VDSL or FTTH.. select FTTH. You should see an option to select the wan type (pppoe/dhcp..) and using the wan port it may be possible that it work.. |

advanced -> wan mode -> wan ethernet
please don't do this. If the modem belongs to you, sell it and buy a nice router. |
