Call the corporate executive offices. There was a phone number posted here some time ago -- sorry I don't have it but maybe some else does.

I searched this forum for "executive offices" and got this thread among others: »Re: Anyone Have A Number For FIOS Executive Response Team?. You might do the same search and check out all of the threads.

That will not work for billing/service issues as they will just tell you to call the main number. Believe me, been there, done that...

The LPC's don't deal with billing issues - they can only exchange equipment.

NY/NJ/CT Extreme HD Package Should Include HBO & Showtime Now

I am having the same problem regarding the lack of inclusion of Showtime and HBO in the Extreme HD bundle in my new FIOS Triple Play package installed on 3/7/13. It couldn't be more clearly stated for my CT zipcode of 06830 (and all the NY and NJ zipcodes that I looked at) in the comparison chart at »www22.verizon.com/home/fiostv/di···channels that both HBO and Showtime are "Included in TV bundle," but the many Verizon reps I've contacted online and by phone are either unable or unwilling to fix my problem -- and the "managers" they promised will call me never call. I am searching for the right police to voice my complaint online to Verizon. I will also detail the next steps I will take with local, state and federal government and consumer protection authorities about Verizon's "false advertising" and bait-and-switch" tactics if a more senior manager does not contact me to solve this.

please tell me if you make any headway. My friend is still getting nowhere, and now my sister in Jersey City is a pawn in this BS.

The executive people do not do anything , just like the reps.

Call your local TV franchising authority and explain the situation to them. They should be able to get results.

While I agree with you that it should be included if it is being advertised as such, I believe their website has an error in it. It also shows HBO, etc. is included in VA Beach w/the Ultimate Bundle, but that has NEVER been the case here and doubt the changed it as such.

I have a feeling there may be some glitch in the website. I ended up downgrading my package from Ultimate to Extreme last week. I am receiving HBO and Showtime as part of Extreme (which is correct for my area of NJ), and when I looked in the package comparison table, I know that Cinemax did not say included. But on the order summary screen I swear I saw the Cinemax logo and it said Cinemax was included in the bundle. I never made an issue of it because I don't watch Cinemax anyway.

It really doesn't matter if the web site is in error. The web site is Verizon's statement of what they are selling, what is included, and what it costs. They are bound by it or they are misrepresenting the product, which I believe is fraud.

A definition of bait and switch: "Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud used in retail sales but also practiced in other contexts. First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price; then customers discover the advertised goods are not available."

I would complain to the Better Business Bureau too.

That's why I said they should honor it.

What I am saying is that CSRs, etc. are not going to know that it is showing that way on the website. They only know what their systems tell them should be included.
