Gear ilevel question
Does upgrading gear using VP actually affect ilevel, or does the game still register the item's original ilevel when coming up with your in-game ilevel?
For example, I upgraded two pieces of gear and, while the ilevel changed on the gear, the ilevel on my character page didn't budge.
Yes, upgrading your gear can change your ilevel. However, keep in mind that your ilevel is calculated as an AVERAGE of about 16 or 17 pieces of gear; raising the power of only one piece by either 4 or 8 points, would give you an overall ilevel increase of about one-quarter to one-half of a point.
In other words - you could spend 1500 VP to upgrade a piece, and your ilvl would go from 475.7 to 476.2 - but the game would round it to 476 ilvl in both cases.

Ouch. Well, that is better than what I thought it might be. Thanks!
