Hmmm i just checked and the same update was waiting for me to download and install it. I don't even have IE10 on any of my systems Win7 32bit or Vista 64bit. |

Well I downloaded the KB2670838 package and it said it was already installed. I looked through the list of installed Windows Updates and couldn't see it there. I have to conclude therefore that it was (silently) installed with IE10.

Thanks, but I'll leave it alone for now. No need for IE except for a site or 2 once in a while. |
