those speeds are certainly attainable on ethernet....wireless? Not so much.

Probably a two year commitment. I just made the change and got $25 off each month with 50/25. I was at 25/15. |

Not true. I bought the new GIGE Router from Verizon. I have the 75/35 and my wireless speeds run between 65-83 download. |

kudos:18 | I do not have the GIGE router from Verizon. I bought a Gig Ethernet switch to use for LAN stuff, but the wireless runs at 20/20 up/down.

For you, maybe there is no catch. For me, it's a lot more, so I'm sticking with 35/35 until they force me off it, or offer an actually better deal.
35/15? Is that right? I don't think I've seen that speed combo before.
Make sure you account for all the un-fees in estimating your new bill. The advertised price is very misleading. As an existing customer, you know that, but I thought a reminder couldn't hurt.

Watch your bill. Our 2 yr contract expired and we were told for like $15 more we could upgrade our 15/5 to 50/25. We did it and the first month was fine but then the price went up by an additional $20. They claimed the price their website gave us was wrong and that some bundle credits expired with the old contract. I was able to get them to honor the advertised price and adjust our bill. |

those speeds are certainly attainable on ethernet....wireless? Not so much. Easily attainable on wireless if your Wi-Fi network is setup properly. I'm on the 150/65 tier. Using a wired connection I can get 155/70 speeds. Using a wireless connection I can get 150/70 speeds. 75/35 speeds have been a breeze for years over wireless.
Of course I'm using my personal router and Access Points instead of the FiOS supplied routers. Although I do have four or five of the FiOS routers gathering dust in my closet from the last 5.5 years. |

Yep, re-bundle with new 2 year contract can save a significant amount of money. I was on month to month on the 20/5 Extreme plan paying about 150 with the various packages and box rental. I was going to just do the $10/mo upgrade to 50/25 Quantum, but the salesperson talked me into signing a new triple play 2year 75/35 Ultimate deal for about $130. More channels, more speed for less. (most of my home network is wired) |
