Leviathan posted : I do understand this may seem like a stupid question to ask. Just seemed to be a bit too coincidental that the IP addresses in hops 3&4 change depending on how well the connection is doing. If that makes sense.

Leviathan posted : So past couple of days I've been running tracert's to google.com. From approx. midnight to 3PM the connection is fine and the rest of the time ping ranges 300-850ms and download is around 1mb down. I already know, or so CenturyLink says there is a bandwidth exhaustion in the area. But I recently noticed while running tracert right before the connection stabilizes and right after and I will attach a screenshot. You'll see 3 separate tracert to google.com that were performed one after the other. Note that Hop #3 of the first to test are different than the one in the third test. Hop #4 in the first two tests are also different than from the third test. Am I being paranoid or is it normal to see this? Is there an explanation for why this happens? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
