Re: [speed/latency] Massive network slowdown every morning after I hope my cut and past shows up.
I had this trace running overnight to see if there was a widespread issue on congestion/network slowdown:

my local network droped 56 pings (.2%), and Fairpoint first hop dropped 449 (1.5%). Not perfect, but not too bad..this was the overnight when ISP's like to do maintenance..I'm not overly concerned with the 1.5% packet loss (in the overnight).
