1 edit | [Speed] Upload speed issues (resolved) Over the last few days, I have been seeing slowdowns in my upstream speeds. I have never really seen this before.
I have tested with every speed test site I use, all show normal download speeds, but my upload speed cuts off at about 1.9 to 2.3 instead of it's normal 3+ I've tested using flashfxp to my hosted server as well.
Looking at my modem, everything is fine, and within spec. I should mention I have the 50/3 plan.

Gator, when your doing your speed tests, is your computer/laptop hardwired to your cable modem/router, or are you using a wireless network? |

These test results are from my main computer, which is hardwired via gigE networking.

kudos:2 | All done. Def faster than it was, but not as fast as I have seen in the past. It is very close to the full 3 though. I've just never had the upstream be "up to" X before

I run a program, called netmeter, and I can monitor my realtime upload and download speeds.
I notice the upstream speed is jumping all over the place during testing. This isn't something I have noticed in the past. Not sure it's relevant to this issue.

Not that I can tell, no. It might be something that goes on all the time, and I've just not noticed. To be honest, I've never spent a lot of time monitoring or investigating my upstream speeds, they have always been a bit over what is expected.

The upstream I just flipped you to has plenty of bandwidth. Let me know if you'd like to troubleshoot this further. |

Just ran this test, looking at packet loss. I have none. Like I said in the other post, I think this issue is closed.
