Whew. Good to see its not just local -- only because maybe it will get fixed more quickly. Went down outside of West Chester, PA.
BTW -- am I missing it, or is it impossible to find a support phone number for service now on their web? |

Lost here in Newtown PA too. My box is also stuck on reboot. I am getting a "bad request" error when trying to access the support section of the website. |

Thanks for the number -- busy, of course. Evidently, there's an issue in the VHO....charming, as always. |

Been on hold for quite a while now. Knew something big was going on. Called their 800 # and they couldn't find my records, got transferred and the call dropped. |

Tried to call customer service. Busy. How widespread is this? yes, the same exact thing and at the same time in the 19446 zip code. The 1-866-962-1946 number said 'sorry, we can not accept your call at this time' or something like that. |

Haven't posted here in a long time, but just chiming in to say that the same is happening here in Philly (19150). I tweeted them (@VerizonSupport and @VerizonFios) while I was on hold, and I see they've already responded to others regarding this - so they're definitely aware.
I also want to echo what another guy did - don't try rebooting your box. Like the other guy, my box (MR-DVR in my case) is stuck on the starting up screen. Hope I didn't ruin anything, and hope this outage is resolved soon.
Internet and phone is fine for me, though. |

Internet and phone is fine for me, though. So what did they respond saying? It's gotta be the VHO at Front & Oregon in Philly. |

So, since it happened at 5, do ya think when someone left the office to go home, they turned off the wrong switch thinking it was the lights?
(Sorry, just tried to bring a little humor in) |

Ours is out too, boxes stuck at booting. |
