Roboto

Click for full size
groboto, sci-fi, comic book
Created using Groboto ver 3.3 and ArtRage 4.0... Looking for a comic book/science fiction look...

I posted this image to Renderosity about two days ago. Today I get an e-mail from one of the mods at Renderosity informing me a new G4 show "Nerdcore" hosted by Blair Butler would like to use my image in an upcoming episode. Apparently it will be displayed on a hi-def tv. Provided I approved and could provide a copy in 1920x1080, RGB and high quality jpeg...

of course I complied... Hoping they do in fact use it...

It's fabulous that you're getting some recognition for your work. My loving it may count for something, but if it got used, that would really be an adventure in fun and proof of worthiness.

That would have been perfect for the magazine cover BYTE back in the frontier days for the 90's for computer technology.

Re: Roboto

Sorry no - a great magazine gone many years now

They had great technical, and great editorial pieces
Jerry Pournelle

and several others

"Byte continued to grow. By 1990 it was a monthly about an inch in thickness, a readership of technical professionals, and a subscription price of $56/year, a high figure for the time."

The early days is described integrated circuit manufacturing techniques as well as computer subjects. They also had project do-it-yourself articles.

I'm not sure it could ever be the icon it once was.
I found this! »www.informationweek.com/byte/
