So extortion racket by the **AA & ISPs?

$35 "fee" to just contest an allegation of infringement and get your service back to "normal"?

This won't get abused. Ever!

They make AT&T and Verizon overpriced LTE plans look good as an alternative with "rules" like that.

Oh God.....does this mean

It will go on your record so now if you run for public office no matter how many years in the future some opposition research "A" hole will dig this up and the South LA Porno entertainment industry will hold it against you. OH the humanity!

Re: So extortion racket by the **AA & ISPs?

why thats the money making way of certain red states.
Want to fight a traffic ticket where you are innocent? Well pay court costs, even if you win. It helps the government and police from having to spend money on the court system in North America.

The very basis of law states that you are innocent until proven guilty. But when the system makes it very expensive to fight bull shit charges, a profit stream will be had.
Of course we also have to mention that the courts have zero involvement in this.
France basis law says you are guilty until proved innocent by a policeman.

Class action in 3-2-1- ........ Even if that silly user agreement says you are not allowed to sue the corporation. The courts are to protect you when you are being abused.

Red states? Please tell me you aren't making this an issue about conservative-minded people. Sheesh.
