Re: push verizon

Ok but whats the caps on this, because wireless companies have a stranglehold on the market with high prices and low caps. Even if its coming from a cable company.

A friend of mine in south FL has this. He got a roku box and there are no caps or bandwidth restrictions. It really is a good deal.

Today.

And I hope it stays that way.

But history has shown what wireless companies do with unlimited services once they have enough subscribers on the hook. (Just ask any AT&T customer who had an iPhone on the unlimited data plan in the recent past.)

Agreed. If this were to take off, I think customers would quickly learn that the corporate definition of 'Lifetime' is not what you or I would consider correct. It becomes 'Well, that was $30/month for the lifetime of that package... but we are doing away with that package now and shifting customers to a better option.'

well true, the lifetime may not always be lifetime just as the case with ATT unlimited customers however in this case I believe it will be. It will only be limited to 50 mbps, so when a 100 mbps or higher package is available that will end your unlimited if you ever upgrade keep the 50 and your fine.

ATT customers would have been happy having grandfathered unlimited 3G (Throttle speeds) over 4G HSPA/LTE but that's just not how ATT like to play. ATT never plays fair its always dirty business for them.
