Home again today..rained out. Here we go, another typical day. Oh btw what is the ATM? What is with the 100% packet loss at hop 10 on qwest? that cant be helping the situation.

the loss at quest could be that the router is not acknowledging ICMP (the protocol that trace/ping)requests...could be meaningless we don't know.

ATM is how the information is sent across FairPoints network »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asynchrono···fer_Mode

the only part of the trace that Fairpoint has direct control over, hops 2 - 4. the first is your home network the other is the peering point to above net.
