[DSL] Help?

Alright....

I'll explain what happened. I removed a service from Bell (since I have Bell for the home phone), and then less than an hour later... BOOM! The internet is down. So, next day, I call TS. They run through diagnostics and nothing helpful happens. So, today, I talk with a representative, and they run diagnostics. So, we try a direct connection (meaning no splitter or filter), but no luck. Then they tell me that they're willing to send a ticket to Bell. IF the cause shows that it's us (which it's not), we pay 87 bucks. Why? I thought TekSavvy actually advocated for its' customers. I shouldn't have to pay one cent for something that I didn't cause. Anyhow, I'm thinking about leaving. Should I leave? Or what else should I do? I'm a student and I'm not in any position to forfeit money because of one error caused by a company.

Which service did you remove from Bell exactly? Was it the home phone? If that's the case, you can't have DSL Internet without either a phone line or a dry-loop.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear this. It seems bell may have PIE'ed your line "Pulled in Error" which is certainly fixable.

Can you please pm me your account details and ill have someone contact you ASAP?

Thanks,

Andre
